The “no brainer” IDLING that I used to do and which continues across North America is adding a staggering amount of greenhouse gas & other pollutants.

But compelling market research has shown that Canadians and Americans will do the right thing if they think they’re not acting alone and their action will have an impact.

That’s why our public-service mass-media partners are so important. When people know that a lot of others are seeing the messages, and the messages are memorable and genuine, public attitudes change.

And kids help make the message stick.

The Children’s Clean Air Network is grateful for the ongoing in-kind support of The Chronicle Herald and C100 FM, two of the largest print and broadcast media outlets in Atlantic Canada.

Media partners are parents of children too and are in a unique position to help us clear the IDLING myths which are sending billions of dollars of gas up in smoke every year across North America.
